Late night study party

I will always procrastinate. I don't know if I've ever started studying for an exam more than 24 hours in advance, but if I had to guess I'd say I haven't. The exam is for my Health Psychology course so it shouldn't be too rough. I've studied one chapter so far, five more to go. This could potentially be an all-nighter.

I started work at GameStop this week. So far, it's great. The store manager loves me, the assistant manager is a very interesting fellow, and everybody else seems cool. Essentially, I stand around and talk video games with people for the day. Finally, a job I truly enjoy. Things could change, I've only been there a short time, but as for right now things couldn't be better.

My progress in Fable 2 has stopped, something I feared and knew would happen eventually. I can't help it...it takes a really great game to keep me involved for more than a few weeks. Not saying Fable 2 isn't worth my time, but certain aspects of the game just turned me away. The combat system is repetitive and doesn't offer any sort of a challenge. The story thus far is incredibly weak, I hate the fact that you can't communicate with other NPCs intelligibly, and to top it all off, my XBox 360 is running incredibly shitty lately. Balls.

I got Wrath of the Lich King almost a week ago. I thought I'd be more into the game, but with all the tests lately and my new job, I haven't had a whole lot of time to play. I got my paladin to 71 and started a death knight, but that's about it. Once I log some more hours into this expansion I'll post some more in-depth feelings, but so far the game is just more of the same, which isn't a bad thing. I've run the Nexus and Utgarde Keep a few times each and neither has offered any challenge or dropped any good loot for tanking. If I wasn't playing the game with my girlfriend and all of my CS buddies, I wonder if I'd be playing it at all right now.

One game I've really wanted to try out is Fallout 3, so I'm downloading it right now. A post-apocalyptic RPG sounds fun, hopefully something that could keep me interested for long enough to beat the game.

ALSO, my progress has stalled on the sequel to my favorite game of all time, Earthbound. Zach and I were supposed to play through it together, but I don't see that happening any time in the near future...considering we haven't even finished playing Metal Gear Solid 4. God damn it.

Well I've wasted about fifteen minutes of precious studying time writing up this post, but I wanted to see what this blogging was all about. I think I may keep it up.

Peace.
